Diamond Giveaway...

The dig isn't working for me. It gets this far, then nothing. Any ideas?

This is the error report:
Anyone more tech savvy than me? (Stupid question... Everyone is more tech savvy than me.)
If you can help me figure this out, I'll send you a code.

Thanks.

Updates...

It has been a while, so I thought I would provide a little State of the Blog address:

Pitchers and Catchers have reported to Spring Training, so all is right with the world.

I am still out of work, but hopefully I might have an opportunity with the greatest team in the world. If the fifth starter position isn't available, maybe the Padres will consider my application for Ballpark Navigator. I've always liked the idea of being a tour guide, and I love the Padres, so it sounds perfect.

My little shelf at the LCS has netted me a few hundred bucks. WAY more than I anticipated! If I can keep from spending the proceeds on baseball cards, I should be able to live the comfortable life I have become accustomed to for at least another month or so.

Trade and prize update: I STILL owe prizes to a few folks. I really will get those out this week. Jimmy, your special, first-place prize is still in the works.

I just had 61 cards shipped via UPS from the Million Card Giveaway. It cost me a little over $20. Sixteen dollars less than the USPS option. Quite a few trades/giveaways coming with that shipment.

I haven't been wallowing in my unemployment too much. I recently finished a couple of projects for some local bands.

Promo Materials for Okay at Best

If you haven't listened to either of these bands, you should give them a listen.

That's all I can think of for now.

Oh, yeah. I never have to buy another 2011 Topps blaster. I got the coolest Manu-Patch card:
Sweet!

Diamond Sparkle...

After hearing the buzz abous the short-printed Diamond Sparkle variants in 2011 Topps, I went back through the stack of cards I got at Wal Mart the other day. I wasn't sure what to look for, so I checked out some of the scans on eBay.

Wow! Some of the variations are tough to see! The "diamond sparkle" could be anywhere! On helmets, hands, wrists, belt buckles, a dotted "i" on uniforms; those rascals are elusive! I searched through my large stack of cards, and low and behold I found one! You have to look REALLY closely to see it. I included a standard card on the right for comparison.

I couldn't find another one on eBay, so I think I can make a mint!

It is amazing where they put those "jewels"!

2011 Topps...

Guess what my local Wal-Mart had out on the shelf?

Any guesses?

In an unmarked, white box...

Yup. Rack packs of 2011 Topps. Fun, fun, fun!
There were 18 of 'em in there!
Luckily, I had just made some cash.
They are awfully pretty.

Let me know if you have anything on your want lists. I am WAY overdue on mailing stuff out (prizes, correspondence, bills, etc.) so I will get them out soon.
