It gets better in this quarter of the box:

273 - Bay
214 - Dunn
AGR-AL - Adam LaRoche (+12 Group C relic, x5 Favorite Players List = 60)

NP67 - Adrian Gonzalez (+2 MY Padres, +4 Favorite Players List, +6 My Favorite = 12)
73 points for this pack! My best ever! (Knock Out!)

This pack STARTED with TWO mini cards!
192 - Zimmerman A&G (+2)

317 - Baker Mini SP (+7)
62 - Uggla
123 - Zito
89 - Elvis... Andrus :(
65 - Fowler
28 - E. Santana
318 - Delmon Young SP (+5)
NP74 - Y. Molina

14 points in this pack. (Uppercut.)
Pack 9

179 - Lannan
268 - Pettite (-1 Yankee)
90 - Crosby
24 - Wiebe (If you saw "King of Kong" the guy on last year's card comes off as a wee bit of a douche.)

264 - Pena
307 - Pence SP (+5)

276 - Phelps Mini (Invisible ink autograph)

NP68 - Ichiro

4 points in this pack. (Neutral Corner)
Pack 10
180 - Martin
275 - Vlad. Guerrero
79 - Electron (-1, How could something so small cost me points?)
10- Figgins
AGR-BC - Bob Crowley from Survivor (+12 Group A relic. The encased Allen & Ginter relics and autos are so nice this year.)

322 - Volstad Mini SP (+7)

NP59 - Cabrera, M.

This pack was 18 points of fun. I actually watched this season of Survivor. Bob was great, he made this pack awesome for me!

Pack 11
182 - Reyes
254 - Maine (the pitcher, not the state. You have to make sure with A&G.)
299 - Martis
257 - Doughnut (want one?)

247 - Clement (-1)

331 - Samardzija (SP... by that, I mean check the spelling... and short print +5)
NNO - Schaefer (No Number +10, I can't take the SP points, but I want to. The card should have been 339. I do love the hand numbering. This one is 37/50)
NP43 - Braun (+4 Favorite Players List)
Thanks, Sharpe!
18 points... Should be more like 90 /or 99, depending on how I bend the rules . (Right cross)

Pack 12
258 - Hernandez
.---- ----- ----. ... .- -- ..- . .-.. -- --- .-. ... . (Samuel Morse! HA! I almost died laughing when I read this on Cardboard Junkie. Dayf Rules!)
209 - St. Patrick's Cat. (Yes, I abreviated "cathedral" solely for my own entertainment.)
105 - Kurt Suzuki
AGR-TL - Lincecum (+8, x5 Favorite Players List. = 40)
Thanks, Mark!

HHB20 - Cold Fusion (+5... but I agree with Dayf. Most of these are simply crimes.)

National Shame 75 - A Rod (-1)

44 points in here. Not bad. (TKO)

Packs 7-12 = 171 points
+ Packs 1-6 = 36 points
______________________

207 points at the half way point... I am guessing a total of 415 points.

Yikes, that's a lot to absorb. But I believe you did quite well.

Great packs!

And to think Phelps did it all on one leg. Makes his story that much more of an inspiration.

I have pen and paper but my brain is fried. Morse code is easier. Handing over to daughters.

Nice pulls, but I think your math is off. The LaRoche is actually worth 8 points times 5, for a total of 40.

You're still kicking ass though.

Wait a minute, a LaRoche relic AND a Schafer mini????
You got my box! Like I said before... mail them to me for verification....

Mark Aubrey said...

At this time, I do not know that the LaRoche relic is a Short Print.

Verification is required. Capt. Canuck, please send the LaRoche to me after you are done.

Technically, the LaRoche is a group C relic. (1:36 packs) by my rules, that is short printed compared to the group D (1:17 packs).

You all impressed my with your code cracking skills.

I can't type on me iphone

The Commish will have to rule on this one. The rules state that short printed relics are "usually non-baseball". I like the way you are trying to maximize pointage by taking advantage of vague rules though. Seriously gotta give you props for that one.

Mark Aubrey said...

Is there a 'Group A,B,C,D' listing on the packs, as far as distribution goes?

I haven't yet seen a pack in my area, so I'm going off of information collected on the web and bloggers/contestants like yourself.

And remember, the Commissioner is ruling on rules presented by the founder of Gint-A-Cuffs. There will be time for an adequate ruling.

You all still haven't picked up on the whole 'graft' bit, have you?

Re: graft...

Virtual egg sandwiches are nice, but they don't fill up a binder. Hint. Hint.

Yeah you got an Adrian Gonzalez insert card. Good to find a padre fan with a card blog. Check out my blog many padre related post

Very nice pulls.... I bet I know someone who wants that Lincecum relic card. I wasn't even lucky enough to pull his base card let alone the relic. You are halfway through and have almost topped my box already....hmmm I think another box is in order to at least put up a fight.

Very welcome on the extra points for Braun. I think my late addition to the Gint-A-Cuffs lead to some huge point totals for both beardy and ryan over at card cache. both pulled braun autos.
