When Michael Bradley scored to bring the match with Slovenia level at two a piece, @matthewglidden (from the fantastic Number 5 Type Blog) tweeted: "Nice job by that round-headed kid."
I immediately imagined Bradley in a yellow, Charlie Brown t-shirt, having the ball yanked from his foot by that heartless wench, Lucy. If Slovenia's kit was yellow, they would have looked like a pitch-full of Charlie Browns.
