The Card Blog League is... Full.

A hearty howdy to the newest team: RustyKuntz FunBunch. Co-managed by Beardy and SpastikMooss, this new organization is sure to set the league on fire. In the meantime, they really should get crackin' on designing some uniforms. Here are some designs from last year:

Uni Watch (Waxaholic Alt. Logo)...

By special request, the league office has revised the style guide for the Waxaholic franchise to include a new alternate logo:

Did you think I had forgotten this week's victim, errrr... opponent in The Card Blog League? Looked past, sure. Forgotten, no. Waxaholic lead by the fearless Captain Canuck battles the mighty Pintadores de Punkrock this week.

The delay in getting this week's unis out was caused by the Royal Canadian Postal Service. Concept designs were repeatedly delayed between the league office and the league's northernmost affiliate. Unfortunately, Waxaholic was forced to play naked the first two games of the series, directly effecting their "o-ffense" (sic). Hopefully, with the new uniforms, Waxaholic will play up to the Triple-"eh" level of baseball that we expect from the Great White North.

Uni Watch (Chingones edition)...

Next week in Fantasy Baseball, Los Pintadores de Punkrock face the dreaded Chingones. Hopefully, the Chingones will be tired from a hard fought battle with the Grabowski Shuffle. The Pintadores have been taking it easy on The Nennth Inning up until this point. Unlike some... The Pintadores de Punkrock NEVER rest on Sundays!

The designers and tailors at the league office have been working hard to get all the teams properly dressed. They finished the unis for the Chingones just in time for their matchup with the future league champs.

Uni Watch (Submittals)...

The Mojave Roadrunners of the Card Blog League have submitted uniform designs for approval by the Commissioner's Office. Although submitted without full design schematics, it is likely that the concept art will pass easily through review. The designs are as follows:

PunkRockPaint commentary: We are fans of the overall design, specifically the away uniform colors. We would not have used the white lettering without a drop shadow... BUT, in this case, the effect of the plain white lettering is quite nice. We can only hope that the Roadrunner logo will be chain-stitched.

Although the Commissioner's Office is busy rounding up free agents for their personal Fantasy Baseball team, the Card Blog League's Design and Propaganda Department is actively producing style guides for teams unable to submit proper uniforms before the beginning of the season.

I had planned to design and post a complete set of uniforms for each team in the Fantasy Baseball Card Blog League before the draft. The draft has come and gone, and I have not had the chance to create any new ones recently.

Luckily, Dayf saved me the effort... Kudos for using the proper formatting. Well done, indeed.

I will make sure teams are outfitted prior to the beginning of head-to-head matchups on the 29th. Maybe...
