Big Lebowski Set...

Man, this set is getting HUGE! I am glad I can be a small part of a big machine. What I lack in quantity, I hope to make up for in quality.

Not to name drop... but none other than Josh Wilker called me a "photoshop master"!!! I love his blog. It was only the third blog I ever added to my favorites. (I won't mention what the first two were. Heaven forbid they get big heads.) Third on the list... first in my heart. Cardboard Gods was the one of the first blogs to ever see my work... I think I have gotten better.

(click on photo for reference... and a great story!)

If Josh ever reads this... Photoshop is for babies. MS Paint ROCKS!!!

Great job. A fitting tribute to both the man who was perhaps the laziest man in Los Angelas County, and to a great run of cards, the Turkey Reds.

Nice. Did you do the illustration yourself? Both this one, and Motherscratcher's Turkey Red card from yesterday are awesome. It's one of my favorite sets as well.

Photoshop is NOT for babies! Besides, macs don't come with an MS paint alternative. I def give you props using paint so well that it looks like photoshop.

Wow, that is great. I spent hours on photoshop trying to blend in the background of the Turkey Red Jesus and I'm still not completely happy with it. Yours looks perfect.

I hope someone is collecting all these together for posterity, otherwise this aggression will not stand, man.

p.s. it is glad to see (read) someone else still does the majority of his picture manipulation in MS Paint - 7000 ebay auctions and counting all cropped and colored with MS paint. I tried to learn other programs and failed miserably. old dog =/ new tricks

Sorry. Had to delete my own post.

In reference to the background card:

The card was a '07 Topps Turkey Red - Jason Schmidt. I found that the easiest way to get him to disappear was to give him a big contract... worked for the Dodgers.

Ha ha! Dodgers suck.

Well whatever program you use, the cards you make look great!

I need to have my bottle now, you know, I get cranky if I'm away from photoshop for 10 mins.

My apologies for hanging the photoshop adjective on you--it's all kinda greek to me. Whatever you're using, it's working!

I guess Photoshop has become the generic name for computer-aided graphic manipulation.

Let's just make it easy and call it punkrockification. Fair enough?

Yes. This applies to all computer-aided graphic manipulation on the internet. PLEASE READ MY "ABOUT ME" for more details.

Yeah, I've caught myself referring to movie special effects as Photoshop. I was talking about the T-shirts at Wal Mart all look like photoshop, and my wife corrected me and said "That's Illustrator".
